I see one use. Short underground pvc runs where the vacuum runs out of battery, or if you don’t want to lug the generator around. Now if they came out a remote for this unit and some sort of mounting hardware...means pulling wire solo.

poly also doesn't rust as fast, but poly doesn't really push long distances and it can spiral in large conduit. stainless with a flex leader is my go-to.

This poly line was all the rage at NECA 2019. All the brands will be going to it. One excellent thing is how small and round they can make the head. Stainless sounds good too.

Shouldn't be seven 90s in any run of conduit. 360 degrees max total of bends in a conduit run.

Hmm, I see you can get the polyester all the way through, but if you had say 3 12 AWGs, would those be able to make 330 degrees worth of bends? Since the steel tape can't do it, it might be hard to get the wire all the way through right? The tool is cool though. Probably way overkill for most situations, but for larger companies it may come in handy.

Can you run in in manual mode ? Sometimes you got to get your hands in the line and gently pull or push to feel if it's catching or breaking something in the line !?

if its 200ft run, you do the vacuum trick and get a twine in it. That method is cheaper than a power fish tape. Real electricians won't use it. It's for those low voltage wannabe sparky that can't push a fish tape for their lives

Lol we don't even get a case for a fish tape where I work. We just buy the replacement tapes and uncoil and coil them up ourselves. This would be nice but there's no way my boss is gonna pay $500 for one.

Holy crap, if youre a broadband tech, you NEED this tool. you try shoving a fish tape in a 200+ foot conduit ONCE and you'll understand the value of this tool. especially if your hand slips and your thumb hits the edge of the conduit... you will never recover.

9 out of 10 you will be feeding through the face of the box and not through. I guess the apprentices of today can not feed or pull in the Fishtape without needing physical therapy and paid leave.
