That is the peak season for sure! But we never know what species of owls or winter finches will have because it’s different from year to year. But we do a “bird report” on our website at saxzim.org

I’ve recently discovered the joys of bird photography and this channel, and I’m most impressed with the high quality and wonderful mood of these presentations. Despite coming from an entirely different area (I’m in Toronto, Canada) these wonderful videos and the described species absolutely resonate with me. I'm 95% certain I've seen a hawk owl in that exact same deciduous tree on Highway 7, a couple years ago just before the pandemic began. Thanks for the great video -- a genuine glimpse into the beauty of the Bog!
