@@ZeroMass If they are as evil as you make out why did you bother to watch the video..I’ve been feeding them for years and have never witnessed the behaviour you describe..other birds like Magpies and Jackdaws fit the description better.

@@taraann7753 in north America they are invasive. There's plenty of video on yt and other documentation that support what I'm saying.. I have witnessed red Cardinal, blue Jays, and robins nest sacked by house sparrows. Sometimes they outright steal the nests, sometimes not. In either situation they butcher the chicks and or throw the eggs. You should read up on how hostile they are to native birds..

have a house sparrow that my wife and i rescued when she fell from a third story neighbors and broke her wing brought her to local animal rescue to get checked out they had her for 3 weeks then got a call for us to pick her up and return her to the wild but when we got back into the car my wife looked at me and i looked at her and said nope she's coming home with us back to our house and she has been with us for 8 yrs now and is part of our family now and our budgie loves her by the way looked up on line how long they live for in the wild and it says 3 to 4 yrs''''' we have her for 8 yrs and still healthier then ever....just wanted to share that.

Growing up we had sparrows that would come back to nest beneath our air conditioner every spring. I remember sitting at my desk listening to them chirp, occasionally they'd even land on the windowsill and peer inside. Such cute little things, I miss them. We moved so now I no longer see and hear those adorable sparrows...
