Try to do a rare weapon run we’re you get high luck try to get mad stacks and reroll into weapons like mini gun or hammer and try to have a 6 stack by the end of the run (if possible don’t throw the run to get more mini guns just try to showcase them)

They can make guns range matter by making the range change the distance the target is from you to attack it. It would also apply a range to hit up as well just for added benefit to the melee users

I feel that if I get a tier 3 purple weapon early, I would get more rare item and upgrade choice in level up and shop even in the earlier stages. You can try it with one hand character and prioritize getting purple weapon quickly and test around with the upgrades

How about a Vampire build? You have to take all stats and items that give life steal as the brawler and do only unarmed since vampires fight with there hands/claws.

Challenge idea: Tinkerer. You have to buy at least one wepon every round. If you are at max wepons, you will have to replace one of them with a NEW wepon.(meaning you cant just get the same wepon) There are no other restrictions just that. For a more difficult version you can make it so you have to buy or replace 2 wepons every round.

If you want something challenging, how about Hot Hands? Mage + 6 hands. Gotta stick with them unless you happen to come across a Flaming Brass Knuckle...because hot hand. I think on the spear runs HP regen would've been huge. That plus armor. Like you were saying the damage really is already there, but you didn't have much healing going on in the first run.

Submitting another build idea Big gun run Get weapons once you see them ie; rocket launcher, mini gun and weapons that are interesting that you don’t normally take. Character mutation and get a lot of luck to help increase chance for the weapons This could be a cool idea

A luck build with lucky is a blast, where you try to set it up where you do very minimal kills yourself. All the kills come from picking up materials and those kills getting even more kills using elephant and cyber ball.

I've been trying a "Firestarter" build either Torch or Flamethrower being the ultimate choice. Elemental focus with attack speed. It's a hard build to get right but when you do it's pretty devastating.

Any build with hunting trophy will work because the econ that you get let's you have a lot of everything.And it's worth tunneling for the crit. No matter how many rerolls. First waves don't even take weapons. Take the minimum that you need to barely survive. And any male build with lot's of hp(around 80) and a lot of hp regen (around 20) will work. Trust me guys, I tried them all.

Try doing a "build" where you cycle the items and level ups you choose. So you start by taking the leftmost option, then the middle for the next, and next the rightmost, then repeat the loop. Try to preserve which slot you were on when you next open the shop or level up

pretty sure ranged is actively bad on the spear seeing as you have to wait for it to return before it can attack again so the returns on attack speed get worse and worse

I think that some range is good, but there comes a breaking point, where it becomes harmful for the run.

attack speed is _supposed_ to increase the speed at which they fly out and in. The original build it didn't work that way then Thomas mentioned he fixed that. There may still be diminishing returns, but there is not _supposed_ to be.

You should do a run with max speed and as low health and armor with a long range gun. Just never get hit. Probably very bad but very interesting

I woukd say try to do an elemental run based around burn and a wand or two but have the rest be tazers to slow down the mobs as you watch them burn

Seems like attack speed and damage is actually the way to go. Spears have acceptable range already. So if nothing else, take range. I certainly take your point melee and range being good.

Try to go for a bullet hell loud build take all aliens. U can go for a bit of a safe medium health and armor build or a focus on damage bullet penetration and at best even bullet bounce. A lot of attack speed and 6 smg make it a bullet hell bosstato mode build
