@@logitech2010100 are you high? Liam KILLS it in season 4, even in season 3 there were incredibly touching moments like when he let ilithyia go in the woods. You could feel and see the complex emotions he was going through to come to the conclusion. The ending was also ridiculously good on so many layers. I like how it makes you question what freedom and victory are to different people.

I love Liam and the job he did in taking over the mantle of Spartacus, but I truly can only image what the final 2 seasons of Spartacus would have been like had Andy lived to fulfill his role. Andy's portrayal of a deeply pained man seeking vengeance is truly unrivaled, along with his on screen chemistry with Manu Bennet. RIP Andy, gone but never forgotten.

If you look at past 1:55 such beautiful camera-work. The camera pans up to Crixus then cuts to a similar shot up towards Spartacus. The camera slowly starts to level with the dialog. When the two legends finally shake forearms, they are mirror greatness and equal as brothers.

All the hell they went through and had done to each other. For Spartacus to go to Crixus, not just because he needed his help but more because he simply empathized with what Crixus was going through after losing his own wife... That's superb character growth.

Spartcus gave us an amazing ending, even though I hoped for his escape (since his body in history was never actually found), it gave us closure and was not rushed. thats where GoT dropped it, it became badly written rushed drivel of teleporting plot points so D&D could rush off to star wars. Sparatacus kept faithful throughout the entire show. One of the top shows in the last few decades, easily!

Some orgy scenes were kinda unnecessary but they liked being that extreme I think. Sam Raimi, director of Spider-Man trilogy was one of the producers and I can't fathom that sometimes.

i remember reading they had planned more than 3 seasons - it was going to be around 6. clearly they decided to can the show once it lost its magic with Andy (not to mention Naevia leaving the show which ruined the Crixus storyline), and so wrapped it up with a rushed and subpar S3. i don't even consider seasons 2/3 part of Blood & Sand / Gods of Arena canon.
