I did the ankle thing falling off the multi rig during the sprint race. Just for fun I also separated a rib on one of the hurdles. Still finished but couldn't do a couple of the other obstacles (tried 3x on the rope climb) because the part of my brain saying "You can do this!" was overridden by the part that was saying "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH IT HURTS IT HURTS!!!" Right after, I drove 5 hours or so to Bozeman and my ankle looked like it had a baseball implanted in it. Cant wait to go back!

Did you see any wildlife while running?

Great video! Looks like the course was pretty quiet - what time did you race? I'm signed up for the Montana Beast May 2022 - any tips??

It was a very quiet course! Compared to every race I've done in California, especially. I think I started around 10 am. Nice! I'll be there again this year, as well. But I'm doing the Super this time around. Definitely work on upper body - pull ups, lat pull downs; burpees for sure; and prep the legs! Do hikes with some good inclines to get the calves ready. Good luck!
