What a race!!!! It was definitely worth the wait. Great 👍 coverage and play by play.

Great race coverage. Lindsay is just so dominant on the longer, hillier races its crazy. The series needs Nicole to come back strong. Thanks again Spartan, loving these longer form videos.

Great coverage! Lindsay Webster is an animal I wish women spartan races be more competitive. Lindsay should compete in men's races.
She is very good, but lack of opponents, does not mean that she should run in the man's race, looking at her finishing time , she would do well, to finish 11th, sure she would beat a lot of men, but would never win any thing. You are right she has no competition, the second finished 11minutes later, while in the ma's race there was only a couple of minutes, if that, between first and second

Impressive how comfortable Lindsay looked at the lead. Powerful on steep climbs and very confident on obstacles.

What a beast. Lots of guys failed the hoist with those wet bags. Lindsay made it look easy!

It must be quite tough to basically run this race by yourself in the front. Nobody that pushes you but yourself. Of course it's nice to have a bit of a breather here and there, but I myself would prefer to have someone slightly in front of me at all times

It is so annoying that so many men are being caught within 1.5 miles. If someone turned an ankle or something else unforeseen slowed him down, ok. It happens. But they should not allow guys that are not truly in contention for the top spots to start ahead of the elite women. I say that as someone who absolutely could not stay ahead of the top women any longer than any of these guys did. But I would not try to get into a wave in front of them.

This I fully agree on I always get really confused at some athletes who think they can race elite or age group when cheating or just walking the whole race happens i really hope ocr in the future can change that and start digging and really asking if it’s their first spartan and then telling them to switch to an open heat.

This looks just like the old style cross-country races we used to compete in, before they got all sanitised. But with the addition of those artificial obsticals. One of the dangers was always the possibility of drowning in either water or mud. Ha. All good fun. Oh, distance wise, the races were around 10k to 16k. (6 miles to 10 miles) Perfect strength and stamina during the winter in preparation for a track season.
