Spartan Stadion Dallas 2021

June 19, 2021.
This was my first Stadion Spartan Race and besides the stairs it was so much fun! I included all the obstacles and much of us just making our way through the stadium. Please be proud of my little cousins for being the beasts that they are and conquering this course.
I hope this gives some good insight to those who are interested in running one of these. If you love the burn of stairs then this is a run you would enjoy.

Sarah I'm getting ready for the Dallas stadium run and I have 1 question, Where do I put my keys'? I'll be alone so no one there that can hold them for me. Thank you for your help.

Bring a small bag or a backpack. They offer free bag check for your belongings. It’d be safer to put them in a small bag if you check them in. I’ve never had any problem with bag check. If you decide to run with them I would get a small running bag like a waist band with just enough room for the keys.

How's the hydration for Stadion races? And since it's not trail, I guess running shoes will do?

There was plenty of water, almost 4 stations throughout the run at Dallas. Yes! Running shoes were perfect as it’s all on concrete and turf.

Sarah You are a great person to have on a team, I admire your leadership skills. I'm watching this as I plan on attempting the 2022 Spartan. Just wanted to know what to expect. I do question why no one wears gloves for this. I would think it could help.

Thank you! Beautiful comment! :) My little cousin wore gloves and he says they helped him a lot. He takes them off when we run and puts them in his pocket. I prefer my hands but he’s persuaded us to try gloves at least once. I’m running again in March, I’ll try out gloves and post again then if you’re interested in an update. :)
