Great content. I took an 18 (or so) month break from the game,. Came back to the game when Drago rejoined and started upping content, and found out about Arthur and commander swap. Swapped my El Cid for Arthur and my Mehmed for Philip. So Philip is 5554. Still learning of the changes in the game and working on my gear and armaments for my main fighters.

I currently run Nevsky 5525 Joan 5115 Scipio 5551 LC exp Zl exp Hermann 5551 I have full legendary sets of each troop type + 3 rings + 1 horn Should I expand into 4th march or just upgrade some of my existing ? Yes but no ! I explain , i use him primary with Assurbanipal second , i use dragon breath set gear with archellong armement and its workibg so fine and to hide that your full archers you juste put 1 t1 cava and you have the leadership tag on your marche ! Use Seth ‘s call and horne or drum

I run Nevsky/Arthur, Ragnar/Scipio, ZL/Hermann and Liu/Philip. I have Hermann but he is on trial version. After his trial expires in 12 days, I am wondering whether or not to invest in ZL/Philip or max out Hermann? Getting mixed opinions since Hermann is such a great secondary

my exact impressions as well... he's very nice addition to the murderball... but you still want your main 5 dps marches first so he can buff them.... I've tested in home kingdom 5v5 with and without philip in lineup and the overall trades are worse when using LC philip instead of LC alex... I'm just starting prekvk, but am sure he's like trajan 2.0 where he's great to use when you have 7 marches

Philip is not good for duels like canyons if you pair him with LC, but he is amazing with LC in field fighting.

In my experience he is great is both field and 5v5 duels and he is amazing in canyon as well, definitely a must have if run 5/6 marches

I will be using philip as the primary for cav. Yes the crits are unfortunate but even so if ur f2p u got few qnd otherwise just move all crits to ur other march. Besides that literally no difference. Philip/Arthur and Huo/Joan maybe Huo/Beli best two cavs imo

You are 100% correct. Spartan Gaming made a very critical mistake in this video by stating you can't run Philip without leadership gear 🤦‍♂ Furious already answered this question in the comment section of his best cav marches video. As long as you run one troop type, you can use non-crit gear with Philip.

Use philip primary and shajar secondary in Canyon it's meta, so tanky with shajar's healing with 35% + 35% health totally 70% health from commander skills and there's philip with the buffs for your other march, i use this along with zhuge herman, ragnar scipio, liu constatntine, huo/arthur for canyon and I'm top 1 in Canyon..... For philip with shajar i use my archers 2nd march equipment on philip it's not crit but all legendary equipment

@SpartanGamingMobile You made a *HUGE* mistake at the beginning of your video. You absolutely *DO NOT* need leadership gear on Philip as long as you are not running more than one troop type. The only drawback is that crit gear will give no benefit to Philip, but this is a non issue for f2p and low spenders 😉
