You're so right! I've been a petrolhead all my life, loved cars for over 20 years and couldn't care less about bikes. Then I started to think how inefficient it actually is to drive a 1500 kg 4 wheeler all alone to work every day. I got into bikes and now I love motorcycling more than driving my car! It's amazing, wish I got into bikes way sooner :D

Just takes one car to move slightly to the left or right and you are history mate. No need at all. You get home a few minutes earlier but at what risk. As you get older you will realise this. Ride safe be mindful in your head.

Few minutes? If he stayed in traffic THAT backed up, he would've taken 30-45 mins longer to get to wherever. On a completely different note, I agree with what you're saying. Although lane splitting is legal, he was going quite fast, I would've slowed it down to 10-15mph max in traffic that dense on a road that narrow.
