in reality, the Spartans would have no chance against heavily armored warriors supported by archers with longbows I don't even think they'd come close the Spartans are unprotected and longbows would shoot down a large number of Spartans and put the rest to flight

To have a fair battle, Spartans should be between 5k-10k and the city army be the same number as in the video. But here spartans were literally 20k, so expected results. I dont know how powerful Spartans were in real life, but this game makes them really overpowered.

It's in the ratio of fighters in this case. The knights where just over whelmed by the amount of men coming at them. The ending was expected.
