There is another way to build these tension structures. If you add holes to the strut centers your ends can be tied more directly to the strut below. I added this note with more detailed info to youtube "how to build a tensegrity icosahedron"

Hardware store has dowels and a saw to cut slots. Fabric store has elastic.

i just throw bread crumbs around the house and allow yeast and fungus to grow into furniture and home decors etc,i also eat in my bed now so i dont need to buy pillows and bed sheets etc...and hopefully by the end of this year id have created a heaven for all kinds of insects,reptiles and small mammals to open up an observational centre, be self taught and earn a respectable degree in behavioral science among species and document the course of nature's transformation from a inorganic concrete structure to bio diverse zoological garden
