Prepare an alcoholic beverage of your choice and then consume one shot of it each time that you hear Marinus quote Batman calling somebody, anybody, “punk”. Good luck. Yes, of course I could use the Internet to seek the answer myself, but I ask: the description's credits list McFarlane as the cover pencils artist, but who exactly has drawn the interiors? Apart from that inker...if that's also Todd, then obviously he adopted a different style from what was his signature by then, the time when this was published. The drawing style also looks somewhat like Greg Capullo's, in some ways. This one-shot's writing was weird. It definitely seems to come entirely from the Image Comics pool and not from DC, if Todd himself didn't write this. Whoever did...where they sober? Just the way in which Batman spoke, veritably for the entire story, is pretty unusual and even uncharacteristic - or, at least exaggerated. The villain and her scheme also seem entirely from Spawn's world rather than any that would've been derived from a Batman writer. Maybe, for a graphic novel, but then there's that Bat-dialogue. Wonky. I'm undecided as to whether I like it or maybe I'm ambivalent about it...but, this is obviously gonna be superior to whatever's churned out in the modern nightmare world. Thanks for a blast from the past, and true Image, and a Prestige-format book no less, Marinus! Have an enjoyable weekend!

xDDDD. There was alot if it in here. McFarlane did the art. A lot of flying capes here. I dont think Capulo was in here, but maybe he helped. It's not credited though. They were definitly on something. i want some too lol. It was so weird reading the way batman. Still better then the 2023 crossover for sure. It's definitly leanded more in the Spawn side then Batman's that for sure. the 2013 version was more Batman's but that one was boring as hell. It was more funn yto me because of the dialogue, not because the story was good or anything. yes 100%!! Yeah man and thank you too. have a fun weekend. ps got me Fist of the Northstar Vol.5. man it's soooooo good!
