I actually agree with Spawn taking the form of batman and doing the killing, his reasoning makes sense and although batman instills fear in his ops its not as deep for some of them cause they know he has a line he won't cross. But now that they have seen "him" kill someone who went too far it's a new and deeper fear when the bat signal goes up and since it was Spawn and not Bruce himself Bruce can maintain a level of innocence since it wasn't actually him.

Found out after like 3 years of buying my son every Spawn toy issued by McFarland toys. (Back when the first few series were launched.) That his mom was tossing them. Before he could even open them. I found 10 the other day at a thrift store still in package for $10 each I bought all ten, and have been introducing Spawn, and McFarland toys to my youngest son.

I mean what part of the thought process is like "Yeah if I snatch it, it'll stay together and not send pearls everywhere..." 😆I mean if the point is to steal it, wouldn't you want it intact? The pearls scattering doesn't usually happen irl. The cord is knotted between each pearl (usually) and you'd lose a few at worst. But the bad guy just standing there with a limp string of pearls isn't dramatic.
