Major issue in WWE is time constraints you can only really get away with a botch and trying to fix it if it's early in the show if they see you as a main guy

Even the planned (first) ring implosion that took place in a WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and the Big Show 20 years ago tomorrow, on the June 12, 2003 episode of _WWE SmackDown!_ are fun. I still remember Tazz yelling at the top of his lungs “HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE HELL?!” afterwards *😂🤣*

That first one was one of Matt Hardy's strangest botches

My guess is that he thought the hard cam is behind him, but still a standing elbow drop isn't something you wouldn't just make contact with so it's still weird even with that excuse.

The one around 5:20 is Darby Allen doing a "Coffin Drop" where he basically just falls backwards off the rope.

The move you were confused by was the Coffin Drop which is the finisher of Darby Allen, the guy doing the jump. It's effectively a reverse senton in which the guy jumping is supposed to land back to the chest of his opponent

That diving move was a Coffin Drop from Darby Allin. He dives with the back of his head and upper back. Either he missed Matt Hardy or Matt moved out too much from the position he should have been.

3:40 i think the plan was that the table breaks and they both go through, instead you see the table just slide out from under them as it tips over and they both land hard on the ground, and as someone who has punched holes into furniture, i can tell you it hurts more when it doesn't break.

The move he was trying to hit was his finish, it was Darby Allin hitting the coffin drop. It's essentially a backwards senton with theatrics and he should've landed on Hardy's stomach with his back, so either Matt Hardy wasn't in position or he shorted it significantly.

I think he was trying to hit with his shoulder, because he did turn a bit but then landed on his back & missed hitting the guy. He did not turn far enough & the jump was too short to hit the guy.

That second Matt Hardy clip wasn't really a botch. Darby Allin attempted his finisher, The Coffin Drop where he crosses his arms and propels himself back first into his opponent, and Matt rolled out before it connected, I believe. Darby Allin was not green when that clip came out so I don't think he'd botch a move he'd had years of practice with. I don't see Matt Hardy no-selling much, so I think the intention was even though Matt rolled out before he received the full brunt of it, at least Darby's head connected.

I think it was more like either Matt wasn't in place or Darby shorted it. Both those things happen sometimes regardless of experience. If it was a situation where Matt was supposed to get clipped as he was moving he would've moved much more obviously instead of just kinda leaning slightly to the right.

I dont really watch AEW but I'm pretty sure Darby Allin has a dive called the Coffin Drop where he basically does a trust fall from the top rope to land on his opponent with his head or upper-back. I think the botch with him was just that he missed.
