Where now in 2024. Let's pick a part some of the topics of this video. Yes, some companies and states and municipalities did something towards net zero (or towards abiding to the Paris Agreement), but we basically had to wait the 4 years, kick him out, and then have Biden put US in the agreements again. And after that, things still moved slowly. Thoroughout this decade we've seen the impacts of climate change getting worse and worse, clearer and clearer: absurd heat waves, droughts, gigantic forest fires, and eventually even absurd cold snaps (in Texas, of all places). Oh and unprecedented floods. Climate change is not a future issue anymore. It is present. But not only that. Trump's second attempt for the WH also threatens regular old environmental agencies and simple logical regulations against normal everyday pollution. This man needs to be stopped.

Yes - I haven't read Project 2025 myself, but I believe John Oliver (in another episode) mentioned that it involves dissolving NOAA because the organization conducts essential climate research. I find this utterly absurd, given that NOAA is integral to understanding and predicting climate and weather patterns. Dissolving such a critical institution is, in my opinion, not only unreasonable but also a significant step backward in addressing environmental issues.

Its sad that people who claim to be clean energy advocates, still condemn the most energy dense form of clean energy available, nuclear, with blatant falsehoods and pretend that the fact that we arent building nuclear power plants proves their ignorant arguments, when if we wanted to see them built, the over regulation spawned from irrational fears boosted by the fossil fuel industry and renewables advocates has made it to where if we wanted to build nuclear power plants, the process wouldve had to been started 15 years ago, and even then, the fear mongering in the fallout of the Fukushima disaster that was 100% preventable, would've stalled those plans in the same way it got Germany to shut down its reactors.
