Mind blowers soon. I’m glad you’re following the character growth well. Morty opening up his dark threatening side. His total lack of control in any given situation is no longer an issue, he can control some stuff like the petty emotions of a teenager who isn’t thinking about their own mortality like Morty has had to numerous times. The growth in this show is subtle but very present.

This story is all about how Morty became a badass, but also a morbid person and Rick becoming more human while also dealing with his depression.

This might be my favorite episode of the season. Rick shouting "Rick and Jerry episode!" is hilarious, and his "you act like prey, but you're a predator" speech is incredible. The episode is a great look into both their characters. The psychedelic sequence rocks, and Morty has not one but two badass moments. All around good shit.

@@callummiles2566 I was thinking Kurgan from Highlander. Big dude, psychopath, treats others like toys. That voice just has a presence, which is why he's in so many movies, games, cartoons, etc. He's Surtur, the destroyer of Asgard in two Thor movies. I actually don't find people with gravelly voices to be inherently threatening, but they do get your attention.

Something to note in this episode, Summer got very insecure about her body image when Ethan decided to ditch her to go out with that other girl, but keep in mind that Summer didn't think of him one bit when she cheated on him with that bucket head dude in episode 2 of season 3. Morty punished Ethan unjustly, if he really had morals he would've scolded Summer for cheating but he didn't. Something to note of :) Most people focus on Rick and Morty (for obvious reasons), but I feel like Summer's actions go unnoticed mostly.
