I lost my ability to talk due to a traumatic brain injury I sustained over 20 years ago. The past 20 years have just kind of been sad. Hardly any friends. Lonely, but I kind of accepted I would never be able to talk again. But last year a found a couple videos which helped me a bit; and last month a saw this awesome video and my voice has gotten so much better! Unbelievable! 👍🏼😁😊 Thank you so much... Really!

This video has been a great help. I'm a very quiet person and people are always telling me to speak up, but when I do I feel like I am shouting, idk but I guess I'm just not used to talking. I know people in my class that every time I listen to them they have such a clear and strong voice. I want to overcome this and just say thank you for your help. I appreciate it. :)

I know this video was rather serious in the manner that it was made to help others, however, I couldn't stop myself from laughing at times and even had to pause the video to get the giggles out so as not to miss anything else you said. I will say this helped a GREAT deal for my enunciation, which I discovered earlier today was rather....unrefined for lack of a better word. It seems some tongues in the southern United States can tend to get a bit lazy if not exercised, which I didn't know. Being quite the talker, I thought I always exercised my tongue, but I now know that I was rushing through words, not giving my tongue a chance to pronounce things properly. For example, I SAID (in a recording, at my normal tone and pace) "other than that" BUT, what i HEARD when I played it back was "either that". I had thought that perhaps my lisp had come back, which i had as a child and took years of therapy for (and even had the webbing of my tongue clipped and stitched so I could stick my tongue out of my mouth), and considering the fact that I have a tongue piercing (which I have had for years now), I just assumed it had all caught up with me. However, after doing the final "tongue twister" as I call them, I realized that i do have issues with SLURRING my "S" sounds, but not as much as I simply did not give my "D" and "T" sounds the attention they needed. What I am trying to say, in a rather long-winded fashion, is THANK YOU so much! I thought the old "The Rain in Spain Stays Mainly in the Plain" was the only thing that might work, but I will definitely be practicing these in the future (I have myself recorded saying them all very clearly as a reference). I apologize for the lengthy reply but I just really appreciate the time and effort you put into making this and really breaking it all down quite simply, and most of all, making it fun.

[1:47] 🤸 Warm-up exercises include foot circles, knee circles, waist rotations, shoulder rolls, and facial expressions to relax and prepare the body for speaking. [4:00] 🎤 Vocal exercises like "pa ta ka pah" improve clarity and pronunciation for English sounds. [6:36] 🔠 Consonant exercises, such as "ba da ga bah," help in articulating clear speech. [8:39] 🗣 Unique vocal warm-up phrases like "unique New York" and "red leather, yellow leather" enhance speech clarity and agility. [11:09] 📝 Practice tongue twisters like "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" and longer phrases to improve speech fluency.
