Boxed as a malnourished kid to provide for his family. He trained buboy fernandez how to coach and now becomes his headcoach..... And now he's the only 8 div. world champion, the only lineal champ in 5 div., the only boxer to become a congressman in his country and a world champion at the same time, the only boxer to become a senator and a world champion at the same time, 3 time fighter of the year, boxer of the decade, and at the age of 40, he still continues to compete at the highest level in a division 2 weights higher than his actual weight class. It was usually Manny set the pace in beginning of rounds, Thurman came back, but Manny knew he needed to throw more at the end of rounds. And that's what won him the fight, plus getting a knockdown.

We've already had a great fight between PacMan and Thurman... now it's time for the best between Crawford, Porter and Spence to step up to the proverbial plate. Hold it. I mentioned Thurman's achievements because Thurman HAS accomplishments worthy of praise but I NEVER under-minded nor underestimated PacMan. NEVER. In fact, I was surprised that Thurman stayed in the fight until the end of the 12th round but I knew that PacMan was going to win, and he did. I said it before and I'll say it again: that one judge that scored the fight in Thurman's favor should be investigated for that absurd, brainless, ludicrous, ridiculous, silly, stupid, witless score that only someone as dizzy as Adelaide Byrd is capable of. Thurman made a courageous and valiant efforts but PacMan beat him fairly in the middle of the ring. PERIOD. There were no doubts, even Thurman was gracious enough to admit he was beat, and he graciously gave PacMan his due credit and praise. PacMan is incredibly GREAT! What else can we say? Pacquioa should not fight Meyweather at all. Unless, he'll fight the way Meyweather style. He should run and around Meyweather. Then when opportunity arise knock him out. Running around during the fight should not be permitted at all. Its a game plan of action, a scheme and tactics so he won't be able to receive the blows. These kind of strategy worked out in advance to achieve a goal. That's all he does running almost his fights. They should be taking points if they do this. Its not fair to a fighter like Pacquioa.
