The shocking thing about "Speak No Evil" is the depiction of our inability to defend ourselves against harassment: accepting minor everyday rudeness from others in the name of peaceful coexistence, politeness, good behaviour; and in more serious scenarios, showing how defenceless a civilised individual is against these inhuman manipulators The cast's performances and the overall narrative direction remain solid, successfully creating a deeply unsettling weekend experience.

James McAvoy is such a good actor. At least when he’s playing a crazy dude. Bone chilling.

McVov one of the few versatile actors in Hollywood that can be given any role and nail it to a T ...just like Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn give them a role and they'll nail it.

This is such a great movie to a teachable experience. kids need to know how fast life can come at you. They baby this preteen like a toddler, no amount of money should ever make your kids thinks the world revolves around you. Which they don’t have any real money. And to always support and respect your spouse decision and work has a team. Life is a marathon not a race..

Loool it wouldn't go down like this in an African home. My mother would tell me, at 12 I was raising children! It's true we can't baby kids, you have to raise them to be able to be ready for life

I love this because it’s based on what could really happen. It’s really sad sometimes that either the host or the guest is the danger. Back in Ancient Greece there is a rule that the host and guest are supposed to treat each other with mutual respect when it comes to hospitality and it’s in many cultures as well. Right now though it’s 50% dangerous to ask/be asked for shelter for the night by a stranger. Or hitchhike or travel by yourself in another country.

Really hope this lives up to the original. I see they’ve added new scenes and situations into. I get that it’s a new rendition of it, but the first one will be hard to top in my opinion. However, James McAvoy is such a brilliant, talented actor! That man can play any role. Seeing him in the movie Split was just wow.
