Thanks for the video, I am a beginner and used ChatGPT to help my learning for a while, but text only. I sometimes ask grammar questions, ask for usage examples, but I am not sure that I can trust the answers 100%, since AI can hallucinate. Also I am not sure if AI can help correct my pronunciation.

thanks for your comment, beginner students may find it hard to incorporate AI with their speaking practice as ChatGPT speaks at the normal speed and do not use simple vocab and structures, sometimes they give a long answer. Intermediate level would find it very useful. ChatGPT may not help correct pronunciation but other AI may. And for preciseness, it may not be 100% correct but I would say it can range between 95-98% above correct.

@@learnthaifaster and a thumbs up from a Thai to boot, putting it at 95% the level of a native Thai speaker in terms of its language ability. Wonder how it will impact Thai language teachers? Seems to me the learner has to ask questions all the time and ChatGPT can't structure the lessons like a real teacher could.

Thanks for this very interesting and original video. I use ChatGPT all the time to help me with my studies. I ask questions about grammar and vocabulary and it has been most helpful. Are you using the paid version of ChatGPT? I don't seem to have access to this speaking feature on the basic version.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I didn't use the paid version for this clip. I think it works on the phone. This one I used it on Ipad :D

I really need to focus on hearing the proper way of saying things, and to me ChatGPT seems to have a regular American accent, I already have that accent 😂

ChatGpt has an accent, but can speak so well. But yeah if u need the proper accent, talk to a Thai person 😊
