Although this video is 3 years old, it is still very useful. I like it that everyone is having so much fun role-playing the different scenarios. Seems like a very fun school!

Great lesson. I have been studying Thai for 12 years and your explanations are the best. You have a new subscriber.

Oh wow! I didn't realize until you started talking, your book was one of the main resources I used to learn how to read the Thai alphabet! I had an interactive kindle version, and It was very helpful.

Awesome video with fabulous actors and explanations! This is definitely an effective way to help us remember the way Thai is being spoken in the real world, so hopefully we won't walk around sounding like a textbook. Good stuff!

Thanks so much, teacher! Right now, I'm using Ling app to study the Thai language but this video also helps so much as I can use these for more practical uses as Ling only allows me ton learn the words and not put them thoroughly in many different context. Appreciate your thorough and clear teaching :) Your english is very impressive as well! Subscribed.

"tee" is the shortened form of " sak tee", that's why the meaning is" just once". "Na" is kind of convincing word but "Si" is like demanding in soft tone.

My only criticism is...Native English speakers don't realize that "Can you" is a softener...ever though like 98% of us use it as a softener. I only figured it out a year ago...and it's only because I'm taking an extremely linguistic-oriented approach to learning Thai. So, you're technically right about "can you"...but most native speakers won't understand it unless you explain their English to them. Awesome video, by the way. This is really, really good, and the perfect follow up to Read Thai in 10 Days.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, we do realise not all of English native speakers are equipped with implicit knowledge in their own language (metalnguistics), but I'm kind of banking on learners being aware of that, otherwise the video could be twice longer and that's not good for anyone.

Great video. The actors speak a bit too fast. So beginners be aware.
