So interesting and useful video, but the most I like was the advice for not fully the head of quite words in just one day, then the important is myself give the opportunity to learn every day one word and practice it with other vocabulary. Thanks teacher

Although learning a new language might be challenging at times, my goal is to stay at it. Being on vacation on Cancun was a sheer joy, however, the drawback was that I couldn’t stay in touch with my friends because I didn’t get the international phone line. I will definitely stay tune to your next lesson. Thank you. Collocations are awesome! Annemarie, while watching this lesson. Something came to mind and I was wondering if you already have a lesson about it or if I may suggest it. There are few expressions that are being said in English that are not really what they mean. For example I’ve heard people saying, yeah, let’s hang out soon. But the intention is not really to see the other person soon because a concrete plan was not made. Some of those expressions tends to throw me off 😂 Again, thanks for sharing your fabulous lessons!

Hi Mie, first, great work with this collocations such as stay at it and stay in touch! Secondly, you're right! There are definitely some common phrases that have a very different meaning. I would love to do a lesson on that and will add it as a future topic. Thank you for the request.

"Stay and chat" is new for me. I believe Portuguese speakers would like to say "stay and let's talk" or "let's chat". Indeed I think there isn't in Portuguese an exact corresponding world for "chat". We have a strange expression very very used, "bater um papo".

Hello Annemarie (“Ana María” in spanish) When I watch and listen to your videos, I can't believe you're not looking at me while you're talking. You have such a sweet and patient way of talking, that I can play with the fantasy that you really are in front of me and, perhaps, I can offer you a cup of coffee or a "mate", which is a type of tea that we, Argentines usually drink. Hugs from Buenos Aires, the Capital of Tango. George (Jorge)
