This woman is in a league of her own. Just stunning, her style, her delivery, her art. Only she could intrigue and captivate an audience with a story about a teacher they have never met, and that too in less than 10 minutes.

She seriously has a voice for poetry. It just makes her pieces that much better!

"My world was a box of crayons. I had to use every single color to paint her," love that phrase. I don't remember what she said specifically, but it was something like that. Beautiful poem

I actually think this is my favourite poem by her. I thought it was the one from her TEDtalk but THIS is my favourite, because Mrs. Ribeiro sounds like such a magical person. I'm in love with the idea of a person like Mrs Ribeiro and I wish I had her as a teacher too.

I couldn't agree more. She was the first spoken word artist I heard but today it seems like I have travelled the world on a boat of words.

What an incredible performance. Your little observations make the whole difference, it makes you special. Yes, I've grown up with the sound of gold bangles tinkling as teacher writes on the board. And it makes me feel proud! Love from India!
