I hope you get to interview John again. I guess a question I have is, “What prompted you to pick the Statements?” I’m planning on building a set (or a trio) of speakers, probably MTM, and I’m going in circles trying to find that perfect sweet spot he talks about of cost and performance. I want something that can sound musically delicate, but also something that can rock me out of the house when I’m so inclined (both for HT and music). So the best of all worlds basically. Looking forward to more great content!

That's a pretty cheap amp. There are much much better sounding amps out there.

There certainly are more expensive amps. What amp would you suggest?

@@goldenearaudioreview4904 My point is that the speakers appear capable of good performance and handily outclass the Emotiva. If I remember correctly, that series is entry level in the Emotiva lineup.
