KZbin compression killed the sound :( but you can still hear the basic differences in the speakers, just with some really annoying clipping that wasn't in the original sound

Absolutely agree with comment about vintage 30’s… I prefer the G12T75s as found in classic JCM800 cabs. I have high end Fender twin cab with vintage 30’s and it’s both honky and “ice picky” compared to G12T75s in my 1922 Marshall twin cab and absolutely pale in comparison to JCM800 quad box which delivers the sound of Norse Gods on heat.… In this demo, Celestions definitely have more clarity and bite. … I recently bought a very cheap (very used) Marshall quad upgraded with Bugeras for the road… JCM800 is retired now to keep it safe. Bugeras are an improvement on old lower-end Celestions so they’re staying in the ‘new’ old cab for now… cheers for the comparison.

I have some really good sounding Bugera speakers. I also have Greenbacks and V30s and Alnico Golds , Alnico Blues, Original Alnico Silvers from the 60s. So I know tone and the Bugeras hold their own. People assume they aren't good cause they aren't expensive. Just need to be broken in.

The Bugera holds up. They are differently voiced speakers, but both sound nice and useful for rock. Certain clips of the Celestion make you go "a ha", because they produce a something very similar to the signature sound that we're used to hearing in decades of rock albums. If you want to get away from cloning that, the Bugera is better.

10:40 that DT riff sounds better through the Bugera to my ears, although the Celestion is way clearer. It's just the voicing of the Bugera speaker is suited better, but it's not clear enough, sadly.

The Bugera speakers are definitely more scooped sounding and the Celestions have a big midrange boost when compared. The KZbin compression also made them both sound like crap sadly. They did NOT sound like this before I uploaded the file

too much better the trusty g12t-75 bugera is all mids no bass no highs.
