Nice video. Do you think there is space to put in a 21700 battery instead of the battery that came with it? The battery life is it's only downfall, in my opinion.

If the battery dies, Sony pretty much wants you to buy a new speaker..

I tried to do the same in the battery part, but it's hard and it'll take time. I just pry it on the other side with a plastic small opening tool and boom. It pop out easily with less effort.

Mine won’t turn on only when it’s charging but the power and little blue paring light flash for a few doesn’t turn on when it’s not plugged in leven tho I let it charge for a while what do you think happened or what can I do to make it work

Piotr Radzio the Sony xb41 has a 4900 mah battery same as xb30

How did you handle the circuit board mounted on the stock battery. I ordered and 18650 but do not want to take the blue plastic off the old one until I'm sure it can be replaced

The battery's life on my SRS-XB21 did not last very long so I changed it using your tuto. Although everything seems to be in order the bass speaker wouldn't work anymore. Where does that could come from? Did it happened to anyone? Thanks

У моей по зарядке 2200 mA/h набралось, в реале и того меньше. Хватает на несколько часов, ни о чём. Колонке два месяца! Заказал аккум на 3400mah, менять буду.

@@ilya_zx а где заказал? На алике вообще можно навсегда забыть о покупке каких бы то не было аккумов если что! Тоже думаю меня менять аккум на своей, за дарма на авито жалко выстовлять, не ожидал такой подставы от Sony, уж за 5т.р. могли бы сразу 2 банки по 2700" поставить, место ведь есть!

@@VestnikBuri На алике заказал. По отзывам 3200 в банке есть, всё лучше "2200" которые стоят сейчас. Если 2 банки воткнуть огонь будет! Колонка устраивает всем, кроме времени работы.

@@VestnikBuri заменил аккум. В китайской банке разряд током 0.5А с 4.1В до 3В показал 2780mAh, в родной из колонки 2122. Колонка два часа играет, battery fully charged. Если будешь менять при сборке обрати внимание на провод подсветки, который приклеен черной лентой. Если не приклеить будет задевать диафрагму и трещать на басах. Колонка отключается при 3В на аккуме.

It isn't a usb-C jack, looks the same from a Dualshock 4 charge board controller (search for micro usb ;-)

Elég gáz hogy 1 cellás az akkuja, nem csoda hogy keveset bír! :D Jó hangszóró volna csak fele akkora az akkuja mint az előző modelnek. Az Xb20 2 cellás akkuval rendelkezett, nem is értem hogy gondoltam ezt a Sony! :D

Speake sucks after 3 years, battery life is only 3 hours without using lights or extra bass. Powered Wi-Fi speakers will be the better choice.

Sony - they're just like Germans, but Japanese , made an excessively overengineered device. Don't quite understand the purpose of this amount of white plastic inside, does it have kind of damper function to eliminate standing waves inside the cabinet? Why did they wrap whole body in mesh fabric? it is supposed to be used outside , but it will hold water, dirt and will definitely tear some day.... dare to say that it sounds magnificent, waay better than anker soundcore in bass department...
