Hello, I was just randomly looking up 'How to speak English' when I found this. I am a native English speaker, English was my first language, and I just wanted to see what it's like to teach english. When you put the enunciation for brothers, the 'r' is pronounced in it as well. So you'd say 'bruh-thurs' not 'buh-thurs'

Hello. Firstly, I'd like to thank you for posting those videos. They are quite useful for those who wanna improve their English like me. I thought mother and father were different phonetically saying. The first syllable of mother is represented by " ʌ " whereas the first syllable of father is represented by the symbol " ɑ ". Is it wrong? Thanks in advance.

(I am a native English speaker, it was my first language) She isn't exactly correct when she said that when someone asks you how many people are in your family, you tell them how many people live with you. If you DO have people living with you, you say however many people live with you, if not, you'd say something like "I live by myself." If someone asked you, and you told them you have no family, they would assume all of your family is dead.
