The host, Ken Paulson, is phenomenal ~ calm, laid back, insightful questioning, and blessed with an uncanny ability to enable his guests to open up their hearts, and souls. ... Bravo!

First time I've seen LB when he's not ranting, quite an insight into the "real" person, thank you.

Sometimes the rant is a bit over the top, but Lewis really has a lot to offer.

I was happy to hear that people considered that the Daily Show was a source for news, for information. I never believed it was their ONLY source of news, but it was a news source that wasn't afraid to be honestly critical of actions and words, of ANY politician or celebrity, regardless of party or political leanings, AND was presented WITHOUT the filters of corporate ownership muzzling and limiting the ability to present the news as an accurate representation of what the reporter is finding, as it is coming to the reporter. It also didn't adhere to the nonsensical idea that every debate, every issue, needs to be presented as though every side of the debate is equally valid, all arguments are equally valid and equally important (even if it is based on bias, based on misunderstanding or misinformation, or if it is just a flat out fabrication), and that all sides of any issue aren't even considered, just those of the establishment and leadership of the two major political parties, and that those two are the only being presented and only which are considered valid enough to even be recognized, or considered as possibilities.

Today in 2022, the only way to get the news imo is from the comedy shows, better to laugh than cry over the messed up world we are all living

I like that he says he's always had a problem with authority Because to believe that your superior in a status society in particular means you have little conscience usually. Your at the top where you do not deal with people many different people. He's at some other point , area whatever where he is aware he and others are different people. So someone typically unfortunately whose an authority isn't superior usually.

Feb. 28, 2003. I just watched this program Oct. 4, 2017 wow you would think we as a Nation would have matured since then, quite the opposite. I thought Clinton, Bush II and President Cheney (not a typo) was bad.

When the video starts, and we see "religion" as one of the topics that Speaking Freely touches on, why not put a clip with of a Jewish scene in a synagogue, instead of a Christian scene in a church? Or maybe a clip from inside a mosque?

No Lewis, government does not and should not provide jobs. Unless you're talking about government that continually grows and becomes more and more costly to operate, thus justifying, at least in their eyes, the need for more taxation in which case government does indeed grow and is not only too expensive to operate but becomes impossible to monitor and keep in line, thus leading to all the corruption we see in government today. I still say the idea of limited government put forth by the founding fathers was way more profound and way more important than most people today have the capacity to understand.

The republican machine is at it again . Don't tell me about government jobs you work for the RNC and this is all you do all day is push there agenda.

ken k Let me guess; you're a liberal, right? Registered Democrat? Don't lie. I can tell because you liberals love to create your own argument and run with it, as though thinking something up makes it instant reality. I work for the RNC? HAAAHAAA HAAAAA!! Fu-u-u-nnnnYYY! I have plenty of arguments against both parties, friend. Once you figure out that they're just opposite sides of the same coin and neither of them are on your side, you'll experience an awakening that will change your life dramatically and forever. Or.....just stay in your coma. It's totally your choice.

NO I am a Human. But I can spot a non human from a mile away. Anybody that spends there life talking politics is not a real human.
@TheRealCitizenGhost
@TheRealCitizenGhost 8 жыл бұрын
ken k LOL! Non human. That's even funnier than your other ignorant statement. You're a laugh a minute. You must be a riot at parties. Here's a little education for you, and let me know if this is too much truth for your tiny little brain. Politicians create policy. Policy effects the lives of every individual. Those who are not aware of what's going on and active in it, are the dumbest of the dumb sheep. Have a nice day. "Baaaaah!"

The founding fathers were protectionist as you could get, as for the government not creating jobs why do you think great depression crash was so severe? simple reason: government spending wasn't big enough to cover the spending gap left by private sector.
