DuoLingo is the best place to start! Take your time with it all and you will have the groundworks, then after learning the pronunciation, grammar ect and finishing the course on duolingo its all about memorising new vocab with other resources, listening to norsk speakers, watching tv in norsk and reading in norsk. Keep going you got this

Proud of you as of myself! Seeing the progress motivates me to do better! But im stuck at A1 and can not finish it. Please can you let us know platforms u have used, especially the one with homework/teach group learning. Also what was most practical tool or platform in the learning process? What gave the most result? Was it speak norsk or homework and teacher group learning. Takk!
@samkath2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!😁 I attended online courses from alfaskolen.no I loved having a teacher who could answer all of my questions and corrects my homework. And since the course had fixed dates, I was required to attend those classes which also meant for me less procrastination. With speaknorsk on the other hand you have full control over your study pace. You can finish a whole course within a day if you like to or take as much time as provided. For my B1 course I had 3 months to finish it. For my B2 course I chose the lifetime version, so it doesn't expire. But because of that I have no time pressure at all. So sadly I still have not finishes that one 🥲 Once you are sure that you want to continue studying norwegian and you still feel stuck at A1, then I'd recommend attending online courses or in-person classes if those are available where you live. Courses may cost more than books or apps but in my opinion I learned the most during those classes.

Hjertelig takk! Ja, jeg har planlagt å filme en norsk vlog igjen. Forhåpentligvis kommer den i løpet av oktober. Jeg har såå lyst til å reise til Bergen men kanskje neste år. Kan du anbefale ett eller to sted hvor man kan spise god sjømat?
@DraslyThe13 жыл бұрын
@@samkath Noen av de stedene jeg har likt best er Bjerck Restaurant & Bar, Fjellskål og Enhjørningen Fiskerestaurant. Hvis du vil gjennom en veldig liten "restaurant" som kaller seg for Prestige Sushi & Catering AS. De er faktisk under 10 min fra huset mitt! Og de har den beste japanske sjømaten i Norge

What was most helpful to learn sentence structure & use it intuitively? I'm struggling to find sources for it specifically..
@samkath3 жыл бұрын
Honestly the best way for me to learn that was by watching movies/ series with norwegian subtitles. Luckily I live now in Norway and on TV they show original English series or movies with norwegian subtitles. Even though the audio was still in English, it was helpful for me to read how those spoken sentences would have been translated in norwegian. I'm a visual learner, that's why this trick helped me a lot. Plus, whenever I learn new vocabs, I try to find sample sentences with those new vocabs to know how to use them in a sentence.

If you’re learning norwegian, here’s a tip: There is a difference between et, en and ei. et: She/Him en: He/Him ei: They/them No hate- if you’re confused, search it up :)

I see alot of people making this mistake, so no need to worry. We still understand, its just a simple grammar mistake :)
