One of the most exciting features is the introduction of a brand-new weapon for each profession: spears! Honestly, just hoping us Mesmers finally get another melee option. All we got are axes and swords for melee. Also a lot of the animations only use 1 hand but the spears are apparently 2-handed? Just a little curious about that.

This looks good. I really like the fact that guardian is playing up perhaps a Dragoon class. Necro looks like a light armored daredevil. Very interested in what thieves will get. More counters? More stuns? Mace perhaps, please... did you say more stuns?

GW2 has the best combat, the best combos, the best combat animations, and the best combat flow of any MMO. Remember, you can use every combat skill in GW2 while moving. Because you can swap weapons during combat, there are essentially no cool downs. It's a superb system

I really liekd the idea of spears, it is my favourite weapon from historical combat, but I wish they had done some extra research on how they were used, it's a thrust weapon, not a twirly staff, slashing someone with the spear head is going to do very little. and throwing it... you've just given away your weapon... I wish it was a one handed weapon also, for use with a shield.
