Spearfishing In IRELAND Cinematic Underwater Video

Unfortunately I didn't manage to catch a single fish, but got a pretty good cinematic video out of that crazy 3 day adventure in Glenbeg, Kerry.
This is officially my first proper KZbin video and there will be lots more to come!

Great video, Kerry looking fantastic in the sun. I spearfish up here in Sligo / Donegal and am starting to see Bass coming in. I was under the impression we could spear them from 1 April? I haven't yet shot at one this year but am hoping to bag a couple over next few days. Can anyone advice me on the dates? Am i wrong re the 1st April.... Looking forward to more videos in the future..

Yeah I'm based here in Ireland and plan to film mainly here. When it comes to a course I personally just learned off of KZbin vids 😂

Well the hole of Connemara looks like a Spearfishing/ diving playground. I've been to Galway before but you have to drive out of the city and go towards Spideal and beyond looks great from Google maps.

Nice video, beautiful footage! You've just put Ireland on my spearfishing map, I didn't know it was legal there. Is it legal for foreigners (but EU members) as well? Do you need a license?

What camera / setup do you use underwater ?

I use the go gro hero 9 for all the shots underwater and on land, however the drone shots are dji mini 2!

Only for the rubber powered ones. Spearfishing is really good here in Ireland just not popular.
