Spearhead watercolour brushes

I bought these today, have to say I am very impressed, they hold loads of paint but I can paint right down to a very fine line with them. Brilliant investment!

Hi Steve, Got my order of the 6, 8 and 10 sizes of Spearhead brushes this morning, I've been having a play with them today, swatching, etc and I'm so pleased I decided to try them. Beautifully made and a delight to use. They hold a ton of paint and the controlled flow to the excellent brush tip is perfect. Some time ago I spent an arm and a leg on several Silver: Black Velvet brushes. They're nice brushes but I've struggled with them (the long tips of their round brushes seem to arrive onto the surface before I do!.. if that makes any sense). These Spearhead brushes work with all the benefits, exactly how you've explained, fine lines, sharp corners and nice, even application. Whilst I was pretty sure they'd be good quality (I've got three sets of your Foliater brushes!), the proof was still a very nice, reassuring experience. Cheers again.

I have been using these brushes for a while and they are really, really good. I can also recommend Stephens classes and if you buy anything from him the goods are posted to you very quickly. His paintings are tremendous too!!!!! X
