Just got finished installing my Spec-D halo headlights with LEDS on my 2007 Honda Accord Hybrid, and they look sweeeet! I wired the LEDS to the turn signals and the halos to the DRLs, everything works great and looks even better. Didn't have to use the extra red/black wires, only extra quick connectors. The plugs for the high beams/low beams are cheaply made, had to tweak them so the high beams would work. Besides that one small setback, very simple installation! Great value for the price!

@AEMTuning111 Correct, plug and play for the headlights. However, for the Halo rings and LED is not. This is because the wires must be tapped to a lower power source than the headlight beams. IT will be quite simple when you do get them. All you have to do is splice them to the parking lights. Let us know if you need help. Thanks

...(Post 3) 3) I am the HID kit which I had trouble installing during my first attempt, but honestly I might even be ok with the bright white (which are also slightly bluish and hint at a HID feel) and with the Halo's and LED's at full power. It looks sick. So if you're intimidated by installing HID's, just buy projector headlights with CCFL halos (make sure they're CCFL!) and LED's. I'm an amateur and didn't have much trouble. Just make sure you have all of the recommended tools...

...(Last one) 4) I recommend buying split loom (I bought 100ft for $12 on amazon) to encase and protect all the new wires. You probably can't be too careful protecting new wires from heat and moisture.

(Post 1) - Ok guys I just installed mine in my 2007 Accord and I have a bunch of tips: 1) MOST IMPORTANT: If you hook up your halos and LEDs to your daytime running lights, they will be super dim and practically unnoticeable during the day. The reason why is that DRL's are the hi beams receiving half voltage, so those lights aren't getting a lot of power. Right now I do have my halos and leds hooked up to the DRL's but I've disabled my hi beam bulbs, so when I drive with my brights on...

@cuzko216 yes it would work, a HID conversion kit will not damage your headlight, for it runs at a lower wattage 35W less than your stock bulbs, and it burns cooler. be careful if you buy Xenon bulbs because some run at a higher wattage and can damage some wires and would also explode inside. generally, HID's should not melt your halo's or housing.

@apd09 Correct, because when you purchase a headlight that has the terms: Halo and LEDs; it will come with red and black wires (generally for power and ground). In order for the lights to function, you need to splice them to the parking lights. The wires suggested in the image are for minimize the spicing technique to only a few wires and making it look like professional work. They are not really required. Thanks for asking. Good luck

aftermarket headlights are generally for people who need to replace their broken, damaged, or fogged up headlights but don't want to spend a lot of money buying the OEM lights for their car. additionally, aftermarket lights usually provide the latest styles in automotive lighting. It would depend on the company/manufacturer for which styles of aftermarket lights they carry.

@17bogs yes those black/white wires are for your halo's/LED's which have to be spliced together and wired to your parking lights. there is an additional installation video on how to wire them provided on our channel.

The halo bulbs are proprietary so they can not be replaced. As for making the halos brights you would have to go with a different type of halo such as CCFL because the halos aren't really meant for driving lights.

@ga006959 You can hook it up to the single lights; however, we do recommend that you use the parking lights instead to prolong your LED and halos. Also, the in the video, we used an alternate power source to show how they look.

...(Post 2) my headlights are going and my LEDs and Halos are super bright. SO, I highly recommend hooking these up to your low beams so that people can actually see them. Or you need to figure out a way to give them full power during the day without engaging headlights or brights. Still need to figure that one out. 2) I'm ok with not having brights since I replaced the stock bulbs (super yellow and dim) with bright white H1 bulbs. Big improvement and I highly recommend doing this...

Nice headlights, but the film on them started peeling after a few months (probably from being left out in the weather; don't have a garage). Is there a specific size of wire splice/clips to connect the halo/LEDs? I had gotten them working, but it stopped working after I wrapped them with electrical tape, so I figure the splices were too big for the wire.

Yes, Those wires are for your Halos and LEDs which are supposed to be spliced together with your parking lights.

Halo not design for Day Running Light for this model. That's why they design 5 pcs LED Bulb on the top as meant for the Day Running Light. See my video, u may get the clear view.

Nice video by the way... I have a 35w hid 5000k kits that is currently installed in my 06 accord... I understand that this only fit a H1 bulb... Do i need to change just my 9006 hid bulb and keep my ballast and wiring harness/relay or do i need to purchase a wholset of H1 hid kits and wiring harness???

Have you checked to see if the bulbs are plugged in all the way. Also check to see if the bulbs are still good and if the wiring is correct.

we have an installation video on how to wire your halos and leds. basically you can splice the halo and led wires into your parking lights to have them act as DRLs or you can splice them into your low beams so they turn on when your low beams are on.

But there are additional splicing you would need to do in order for your Halo's and LED lights to work. or else you would just have your low beams. We do provide a tutorial on how to wire your halo's and led's if you do decide to purchase projector headlights.

BUT recently on side of the brow leds are almost all gone... do you sell de LED that are in there to replace them, I just saw a vlr 496 number of the led, but can't seem to find the exact bulb/color temp to replace... best regards!

Where dose the HID bulb go in ? in the high beam or the head light ? and which one is the head light, the one in the center or the one with the lens ? HID goes to the Low Beam only (projector with Lens). The High Beam suitable to use LED Bulb as when you pull the toggle switch to flash, LED instant Bright compare to HID take approx 5 sec to fully bright.. Halogen Bulb is old school now days. High Beam without Projector Lens.

@miguelyo123 you can find bulbs for your vehicle at any auto store - kragen, autozone, etc. Just make sure you find the correct size bulb that fits your lights. hope this helps.

unless your HID kit is pre-assembled with your 9006 bulb. you can switch out the bulbs.. this will depend on your kit

+John B. (TheTraveler) No the LED bulbs do not heat up that much. All that is really needed are 12V resistors that come equipped with the projector headlights. You will not need to purchase anything else to get the headlights working.

splice the wires from the parking lights. If you have a honda, you'll need to splice the red/black parking light wire to the white wires on the halo headlight. Also splice the black parking light wire (ground) to the black wires on the headlights. SpecD Tuning has a wiring video for assistance in splicing the wires to the LEDs and Halos.

I installed these headlights on my accord a few months ago and 3 out of the 5 LEDs on my passenger side light started blinking when i start my engine. I checked the wiring and everything looks fine, Im worried that one of the three LEDs are bad because they share the same positive and negative wiring that meets up with the other two LEDs on that side. Is there an easy way to replace one of these LEDs? Thanks

I have bought 4 pairs of these headlights... I totalled 2 cars :/ ANYWAYS... where do I find the CCFL version??????? The LED version is so dim you cant see it in the day and you can barely see it at night, that was a waste of money...

@elbonja you shouldnt be spending money to fix headlights every so often like how you say. you can seal up the headlights to keep them from hazing which helps it last longer. the only thing you probably have to fix more often are your bulbs if they burn out. other than that, you should have no problems with these lights.
