Virtua fighter has this mechanic too. While blocking during an opponents attack you can impute the directional command and once you let go of block and press the attack button associated the move comes out.

I noticed in this game, unlike previous Tekkens, you have a much bigger window for inputs. For instance, Raven's back somersault is >>>, but you can press >>, wait a whole second, and press > to still get the input.

What the fuk is an ending lag. Those are called the recovery frames.

People call recovery frames "ending lag" in other game communities. The first time i heard it was from the Smash community. Mostly games in which people never look up frame data but still are aware of the concept.

This is so interesting actually cause im currently trying to learn drag and bryan combos and for some reason i do the quarter circle motion for drag plus 3,4 and the move just doesn’t come out same goes for down forward 2 instead of doing the elbow it does a normal while rising I always wanted to know why it does this.

In games like Dead or alive , Soulcalibur, the buffering is really good and allows a 100% precision to combos and frame trap. That's my only issue with Tekken, you don't seem to have a lot of buffering, it's like you cannot guarantee a 1 perfect frame action after your endin animation. So you have to he precise in every action you make to perform fast enough to connect the moves. Weirs
