My husband and I had 7 cats they all all all passed away and it was heartbreaking he says will never have any more cats last year we found that my husband had terminal cancer and he surprised me with a cat so I wouldn't be by myself. She's the joy of my life. My husband passed away last year. in May. She has been my companion. Very mischievous sometimes

I used to be this guy too...until my wife said she wanted a cat for her birthday. I didnt want to but in the end, got Oscar del Gato for her. Now hes my boy. Sleeps at my feet every night. I couldnt imagine our life without him now and I love him dearly. We enjoyed having him so much we adopted another rescue cat from our local shelter. Lol. The 2 of them have enhanced our lives in ways I never thought possible. They arent pets...they are family.

I had this happen to me as well. I come from a farm and cats were just tools...not pets. My wife dumped a tiny little ball of fur on my chest she had found one morning and left for work. My brother’s story reminds me of this guy’s so much! My brother HATED cats soooo much! He couldn’t stand them and he just didn’t like them at all, but one day he was walking home from work when he saw a woman with a crate and she was asking people if they wanted 2 kittens. He asked her why and she said she couldn’t keep them, she told him she was going to abandon them on the street if no one took them. So he felt really bad for the kittens and said he’ll take them. He was planning on taking them to a shelter soon but quickly changed his mind, he got attached to those two precious goofballs and he calls them his “sons” lol.

when he said he would put down the cat it made me cry my heart out i have a cat named Edward (Edward scissor paws) he was born with 4 EXTRA toes one on each foot he couldnt walk because of them it would hurt to much to stand or even move my mother suggested we take him to a vet and give him away surgery was a possibilityij but i dont come from a very wealthy family so we could not afford the operation. but i told my mother i would not let this cat go. Everyday was a struggle to keep him out of harms way, i tried to get him to walk by supporting him, i tried building him a little support walker (that didnt work out) i tried just about as much as i could, Then one weekend we had to visit our grand parents they live a few hours away we stayed for a almost a week. I was scared to get home since i thought Edward hurt himself, but when i went inside and went to check on him he wasnt where he usually lays, the first thing that went through my mind was his mother moved him (his mother is my other cat named biscuit) but i went to where biscuit hid all the kittens to find only 3 of them there, Edward was missing i looked all around for him, i almost reduced to tears since i was scared about what might have happened. then i went looking in side the bathroom and i found Edward inside the tub! but what i saw shocked me, He was walking around inside the tub. he looked like he was in pain but he was walking so i picked him up and brought him into my room and just held him for a while. Every day he started walking more and more, he started to get faster to. I never thought the day would come but its been over a year now and he is a healthy, strong, fast outdoor cat he can walk with no trouble now and his extras toes work fine he can use the claws and everything, he even jumped on my desk while writing this. i love my cats so much it tugged on my heart strings when i heard about this cat, thank you for reading possibly my longest comment ever.

Guys I hate how some ignorant people online say: "EVERYONE HATES CATS." "I HOPE THE CATS GET HURT." I HATE it when people say things like this, especially because they have childish reasons for not liking them, like: they say dogs and cats hate each other.- Most dogs and cats can actually get along over a period of time. They say that cats are rude or mean- You have to show love to cats and they will do the same back, just give them a chance They say dogs are cuter- That is just YOUR opinion and that is no reason to hate an entire species, although personally, there is a reason funny cat videos are more popular, but whatever. They say that cats are stupid- Cats are actually really smart and possible smarter than dogs, plus they are a lot more agile, hence landing on there feet, even if yours doesn't most do, and hence them having quicker reflexes then a dog might have.

That cat is awesome. Shows how some living creatures can cope with the hand they were dealt in life and make the most of it regardless. Scooter appears to have no shits to give. I love it. So cute and independent. It's bitter sweet because I felt sad for the scoot but happy that she gets around and seems to love life. Us humans have a lot to learn from our animal friends.
