I think it's 100% okay to have a special piece that get's limited use. It makes you happy, and it's a significant moment in fashion history to you. I'd love a vintage 90s Chanel at some point. And again, you may find that clutches grow on you. I would never have bought a clutch 6 years ago, but now I love having a few options 💕

And even if she doesn’t get used, I’d be more than happy with that. Doesn’t get better than 90s vintage Chanel. And also that the bag has emotional valuable for you besides it being utterly classic! 🫶🏾 I’ve been eyeing the Christian Dior Galliano Newspaper Saddle bag - but these go for 12k up to 40k so ridiculous 🫣😭 maybe someday. I know that they did a re-edition this year even but the new saddle bags don’t compare at all to the vintage ones. (I have a new one myself but imo they feel kinda tacky, now that there are so many counterfeit items as well 💔). If not the newspaper galliano bag I’m definitely still working towards a fun patterned vintage Dior saddle bag! 🧡

Thank you so much🥰 With sentimental pieces, it’s hard to put a price tag on it. Or it’s at least easier to justify ridiculous prices but those newspaper saddle bag go for insane amounts of money😢 I feel like vintage is almost always superior. I’m sure you’ll find YOUR vintage saddle at some point.

The brands don’t offer authentication services so third party authentication services is the next best thing. Of course, buying preloved always comes with risks, but in person and AI authentication does provide sufficient peace of mind for me personally.
