Could you wet the surface with a very slow-drying cleaner to mimic clearcoat while you run the spectro?

We would not advise this procedure, as any solvent can lead to irreparable damages to the spectro. In addition to that we have to point out that the use of cleaners to pretend as a clearcoat might change the perception and results of the spectro reading. With our new function in Chromaweb, matt finishes can now also be measured by the spectro. Just activate the matt search button in the software.
