I wish they would add servers with no lock on but still a little aim assist. Anyone who has tried fighting in defensive knows that aiming with anything other than a sniper is useless and hip firing is the best way to get a kill. Yet this is still more fun than the stupid wide lock on which is absolutely stupid.

Use shotguns with buckshot while in defensive for close range.

I just suck at pvp. How come my shotgun takes 6 shots to kill a person but I get shot twice with a revolver and I die😑 I just feel like the game is against me, when I was getting attack in town I finally knocked the man off his horse and he started bleeding out. So I ran up to him with my shotgun and point blank shot him and he didn’t die.

Personally I do a bit of everything, I get bored grinding collector/trader so pvp is a good change up. It just hurts my hand to play with my current controller settings. Mashing R3 to run for example.

Paint it black needs a nerf. Maybe have it’s range cut by a bit and not allow it to paint head shots. A lot of noobs spam PIB (which is basically auto aim for an already aggressive auto aim) and if you have ever had PIB with a dynamite arrow used against you then you know it’s basically a homing launcher that has a crazy long range.

I like these special modes. I liked the one from the previous week better but I think people should try them. They won't cost you any ammo and you'll get decent money (depending on the mode). And like you said all players start the same, no OP sniper rifles or other shit just everyone having the same chances.

@AR StormRunner Just not going to happen dude. You expect people to sit there in PIB and spend 5 seconds trying to get a couple of marks on the target? They already decreased the chances of a 1 shot head kill long ago. PIB, SNS and Slippery are just right. Its the other ability cards that are useless. Anyway this is such a small subject.... The real issue is this game has no new showdown maps since September and we have less maps now since then. Don't even get me started on these new maps on this trashy mode. Why wouldn't they release these maps on normal showdowns?!?!?!

This game is based on meta, it changes every update. If you get frustrated by pvp don't play a rockstar game because they are probably the worst example of how to make a pvp game.

NO mini map, NO repeaters, NO snipers...Eventually it will be NO ability cards, NO knives, NO auto aim, NO fist fighting but just good old Ancient Greek Wrestling where the female characters can't compete. oh did I mention.... Iron lung is better than strange because iron lung works with tonics. SM only works when tonics are off. That’s the most balanced load out for PvP in general even free roam. paint it black, peak condition, iron lung, NWO. Most players use winning streak and fool me once instead, but I prefer having the extra stamina, and first shot damage/damage reduction.

I'd really like some sort of realism servers or something, without mini map blips even in the open world, and with the animations they removed from the beta (switching weapons from the shoulder and the back etc.) it would probably be a griefing shitshow but it would be fun to hide out in the woods and roleplay as highwaymen and rob people

I don´t like PiB. I play tihs gamemode with Focus Fire. It works (for me) very good but in many situations PiB is superior. Getting hits with a knife is much harder with FF. And range of weapons is shorter. But i like it and it´s my personal challenge.

I’m a beast at PVP & PVE, but in showdowns more kills doesn’t mean you win. It’s always some dumb objective with points & I don’t focus on the points only getting kills.
