I am also a special education teacher and our IEP meetings are held during school hours. That is not ok that you are having to attend these meetings after school until 6pm. Districts need to remember that teachers have a life outside of school and respect that.

I was in special ed when I was in school for only like 25% of my day but it helped a lot cause if it was not for special ed classes I would of never graduated in the top 20 of my whole class so thank you for being special ed teacher

Choir Fandom Cooking Rants and Random Channel That’s great and best wishes to you! I know you’ll do we’ll. The only people who truly will know, understand and sped students especially those who will be primarily working with kids with learning challenges are sped teachers and aides who were sped students themselves.

This is good things that children are having fun. However, this is good for children to learn and experience something new. This looks like teachers are caring the children.

I want to be a teacher but I feel to old to go back to school... I've been wanting to be a teacher since I was in elementary school and found out we had a special class for students that were deaf. I wanted to learn ASL and be a teacher since that day. Unfortunately life hasn't been easy and I was never able to fulfill that dream.

HelloDarling! Its never too late to fulfill dreams :) all I see is positive in following them. Plus the world needs more people in this generation with care and compassion in their hearts.

I live by a school. My city states that teachers can't hold the students hands. Several kids run out of the school toward the highway every month. You should see the police and teachers running after them.

I love to work with the borderline to mild general learning, and intellectual disability groups. Those with only slight or milder learning difficulties, and educational handicaps. Including those with ADHD/ADD, and other areas. I could have a reading, math, and language arts group for those with all general learning/ intellectual disability range areas. Those with borderline/mild to moderate/severe can still be allowed to participate in a group so they're not isolated, the segregated from the ones who have borderline to mild disabilities. People shouldn't be segregated the special needs children separately all the time. Still this will allow both disabled, and non-disabled students to learn peacefully with unity. A right to treated fairly, with respect, and kindness. A right to an equal education. Special needs students shouldn't be segregated all the way. Because it will cause social problems. A student folder with each students individual learning, and study goal can happen to be taken to the general education classes. Special needs students should be treated fairly even though they have learning differences. In the early education throughout fifth grade, the special needs children should have a paraprofessional in the assigned general education classroom. Or a tutor to with the special needs children that can work with them silently or at setting that is comfortable.
