Edward Fudge is always a delight to listen to. I just recently got his book "Hell- A Final Word". I figured I would read it before I dive into "The Fire That Consumes" since it's just a simpler version without the commentary.

@@fleetwd1 exactly. From what I've read the only difference is, it doesn't have the commentary and the parts where he refutes the critics and whatnot. I came to this view myself before I found Edward Fudge. He just helped solidify it for me. God bless!

@@Ben6Strings yes he gives his views without scholarly rebuttals and evidences. he was asked to simplify it by some who had asked just give your views but simplify it. His first edition and 3rd edition give more detail that some asked to be spared. and it was his last book on the subject meant to accompany the Hollywood movie "Hell nd Mr Fudge." The movie does not go into great detail either but it is a great way to start an interest. Blessings to you.

@@fleetwd1 I watched the movie after I watched a few of his lectures. Loved it! Hopefully I can meet him one day when we go to meet the Lord! 🙂

Edward Fudge was a long time member of the Church of Christ which preaches a false gospel, i.e. water baptism is absolutely vital for salvation. He was also a leading promoter of the annihilation of the soul and body of unbelievers.
