4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
In a separate bowl, mix together the lukewarm water, milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla essence.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well to form a soft dough. If using raisins, fold them in at this stage.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a large baking sheet and set aside.
