You are 100% correct about the chemistry between them! Elvis and Ann Margaret had an affair for approximately a year i believe! Through Elvis's entire life he sent Ann flowers in the shape of a guitar before every one of her stage performances! The night Elvis died she knew something was wrong when the flowers didnt arrive! She til this day never had a bad word to say about him!

He used his guitars, his dogs, his cars and everything. she was called the female Elvis, sang, danced and acted. They were involved in a steamy romance for about a year. She still speaks of him to this day with love and affection even though they married other people. When he died she sat by his casket for hours. His father Vernon said Elvis was so proud of all that she had accomplished. She opened in Vegas every year and Elvis sent her flowers shaped like a guitar, that's how she found out he had died, the flowers didn't come. She has always loved him, she is around 87 now I think, quite a woman. Thanks Seph love the movie clips, great memories.

Ann Margaret was a superstar in her own right in the 60s and 70s. Her vivacious, sexy image and performance style inspired people to refer to her as the female Elvis. She and he reportedly had a torrid and sincere love affair you could write sonnets about.

The lady actually loved him, in real life too! Anne Margaret was the female version of Elvis in raw talent, voice and moves! She's actually really one of a kind too, you should give her a listen! They do another awsome duet in the film, can't wait for you to get to it, this film was actually well crafted I think because both Elvis and Anne Margaret were equals in the talent department and fact that they were having an affair in real life probably didn't hurt either. Agree a better movie than others! The Elvis is lovely, the way he walks is even cool!❤

This was such a fun song - both played their parts well - Ann-Margaret was dubbed the female Elvis and she had an fling with him but she wasn't willing to put her career on hold and they parted - eventually she married her husband a week after Elvis married Priscilla on 1st May 1967. She used to have a stint in Vegas and Elvis always sent her flowers on her opening night.

Ann-Margret Olsson from Sweden🇸🇪. They had a love affair off set and Priscilla stayed at Graceland reading the newspapers about their fling. She usually wasn't that jelous of his co-workers, but when it came to this affair, she was really mad and worried. Elvis of course denied everything and said the newspapers were lying as usual. Great fun reaction.😊 Oh one more funny thing, Elvis and Ann had a pillow fight in her trailer on the movie set on their free time between filming. He asked her if she felt the "little Elvis", that's where that expression started.😲

She also has gone on record as saying that all the people talking about him and his greatness should have talked about him like that when he was alive. In any interview about EP, you can see that she's barely holding onto her temper and sorrow in equal measure. She wants to just cut loose on everybody that ever had the slightest negative thing to say about him and she also wants to just break down and sob, but she does neither. A classy lady.

This was the famous Ann Margaret. They did have chemistry on the set. Which led to a serious relationship for a yr and a half. They truly loved each other but they both wanted big careers & knew it wouldn’t work out. They stayed good friends and several times throughout the years he still professed his love for her. She’s still alive and says not one bad thing about Elvis. Said people criticized him but when he died, then they all loved him. She was married for many years, stayed loyal and took care of her husband when he was sick for years. She still says Elvis was her soulmate. In interviews she’ll talk about him but only up to a point and guards his secrecy to this day. Many people felt this was the one girl he should have married but they would never have seen each other and he wanted the traditional type of wife. He sent her flowers every time she opened in Las Vegas. Then one day she opened and didn’t see the usual flowers shaped like a guitar. She called him the morning, to find out he had just passed. She went to his funeral with her husband and felt awful. She had been an alcoholic when she was young, but got support and never drank again. She said Elvis couldn’t get off the pills without a support system around him and needed to seek help. Her book is actually very good. I loved her in Bye Bye Birdie which was kinda like a story on the life like Elvis. Right after that she did Viva Las Vegas with Elvis. Great catch on the Chemistry pickup. Everyone on the set noticed it too. 😊😊❤

Elvis was Mr. Classy. Ann- Margaret was Miss Sassy. She pushed him in a pool. He was still adamant, stubborn as a mule. She declared she had something wrong with her motor. He offered his expertise, determined to impress her. She tried to deny it. He knew it was kismet. Would she? Could he? Should they? Does love really win the day? Ah, well, you know I can't say. Because as Seph has insisted on quite loudly, as a matter of factly... NO SPOILERS ALLOWED! Bennett & Elvis & Co. recorded this song on Thursday, July 11, 1963 at Radio Recorders Studio B in Hollywood, CA between the hours of 3:00 p.m- 5:45 p.m. Ten takes in all with Take 10 being the Master. Fun Fact: It wasn't actually Elvis that Ann- Margaret pushed into the pool. It was actually Lance LeGault who was a stand in double for Elvis when the push came to shove 💧💦🌊🏊 :D (I couldn't help myself, okay?) All aboard the Elvis 🚂💨🍃🍁🍂🌿 Though I admit I almost missed it 🏃🚴💨💨😱 Choo- choo! Peace ✌, light 🌞, love 💖, & blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕 P.S. The guitar in this scene was a 1959 LG- 1 Gibson (Acoustic) and was used in a total of five Elvis movies & was an MGM prop. This guitar went up for auction twice. The first time in 1970 at the now famous MGM Auction. The second time on August 14, 2012 at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee as part of the Heritage Auctions "Herirage's Elvis Memoribilia Signature Collection Auction". The guitar was noted in the auction book as being in somewhat poor condition and the original 1959 guitar was also noted as being in a quote "tattered" condition. Elvis, however, did personally own a 1962 LG- 2 Gibson guitar. This is most notable because in 1961 Gibson (guitar) started their serial number system which some complained about. However, this serial number system made it easier in future to keep better record of each of their guitars provenance (owner history/ appearance at famous concerts/ in famous movies history). The five Elvis movies that this particular LG- 1 Gibson appeared in and was played by Elvis are: "It Happened At The World's Fair"; "Viva Las Vegas"; "Girl Happy"; "Spin out"; & "Live A Little, Love A Little".

You call him "The Elvis" instead of Elvis. Why? In the movie Elvis sings "Today, Tomorrow And Forever." It's wonderful. But there is a recording of them as a duet. It's stunning. Also, there is a recoding them doing "You're The Boss." It's exceptional.

Many believe Ann Margaret was the love of Elvis' life. But there were two problems though. First, his mother had told him never to marry a woman in the entertainment business. And he usually trusted his mother's judgment. Second, he'd promised Priscilla and her parents that he'd marry her when she came of age (which was 21 back then). There's stories of phone calls, threats to sue for breech of promise and to ruin his career, even talk about Elvis being knocked out in the bathroom when her parents came to confront him. Some believe Priscilla was the love of his life, but I think he'd gotten bored with her and didn't want to marry her by that time but was forced into it. And I don't think she was in love him with by that time either but wanted something to show for all the years she'd been with him. But who knows? There are so many different people who knew them who don't agree concerning who his real love was. Ann is the only one who never capitalized on her relationship with Elvis after his death. She refused to talk about anything personal from her time with him. She has always been loyal to Elvis and keeps anything he told her private.

@@SephPlays You're welcome and thank you! I have to work at not being too wordy so it's always nice to hear that someone enjoyed what I wrote. I edited it after posting and added a paragraph, but I guess it didn't take.

She’s Ann Margaret, the equipment of him as a women. She’s was very popular & talented though I wasn’t as impressed on her full performance in this move as it went on.

Elvis was kind of perturbed, because the Director had an infatuation with Ann Margaret and the cameraman gave her a lot of gave her a lot of well camera time 😂. Elvis ranted to his boys is this Ann, Margaret movie or an Elvis Presley movie? Because it seems like it’s her movie.

What falls out of his pocket in the pool is a wad of money he won in a casino there in Las Vegas. They had a torrid affair.

Ann Margret and Elvis had a big affair. Hard to watch the scene all blurry like that...why do you have to do that? Most other elvis reaction channels play it normal. For someone who has never seen it....it is really sad and hard to deal with.
