I know there are people who have watched every video, and listened to every podcast back to 001, and watched every ITH video. Try out armour wheel cleaner, foam it 50/50. It has iron remover but doesn’t stink and works well on tires too. MWC was my favorite until I tried it.

Some great back and forth. I agree with Matt tho, the rinse-less process is just not good enough. It’s jank and I’m in California where water is at premium.

I would also use rs on cars that are truly dirty. It is very useful to use an acid based soap on coatings especially if you aren’t always maintaining them.

Sonax wheel cleaner is definitely a better wheel cleaner and packs a much stronger punch than brake buster. I guess the only situation where I would choose brake buster over sonax is for cleaner wheels

With BH Touchless on coated cars there is truly never a need to use a 2bw again. The product is so effective that after use you can get around a car with one MF in a rinseless solution and there will barely be any dirt on it.

As for where to buy things...I try to split it up and honor the source (or at least my original source where I learned about it). I've easily spent more money at OG (pressure washer setup, polishers, lift, etc) but I've probably had more orders from TRC because they sell detailing products I want/need that OG doesn't carry (ONR, Absolute, Active Foam, Reactivation Shampoo, Magic Wheel Cleaner, Bead Maker, etc).

Matt. You were talking in a previous video about your BMWs. I’m also OCD, I don’t think anywhere as extreme. I’ve always liked my vehicles clean. Well it started a couple years ago, when my wife and I purchased a 2015 Acura MDX, then 8-9 months ago we purchased a 2020 Acura RDX, well my OCD of detail took off. The RDX is pearl white, and when we brought it home, I realized, wow. This paint is dull. No it’s so bright during the day, you need sunglasses on to see the pearl. Fast forward to today Easter. Starting my own detailing business out of my garage. Bus license is on its way, waiting for the final approval, have the Federal EIN. Will see where it goes before I leave my boring state job. My friends says I’m crazy with the desire to leave a state job. There’s no passion there. Detailing a cars paint is calming for a person with OCD and cleanliness and something looking clean and tight. Not the supercheap one. I appreciate your channel. I still have not figured out why people are so obsessed with pressure washers. There’s a use for them, but I prefer the free flowing of a garden hose. But then again the pressure washer I have is not amazing. It works, of course starting now it’s just a HarborFreight model.

I use 100ml of GSF, 100ml of Green Star, plus 800ml of deionized water in my foam canon and that gets me a pH of 10.5. Your PH will vary depending on the pH of the water you get from your municipality. However, you're going to be close to what I get using that ratio.

Not all pH is created equally. It is also dependent what chemicals you use to raise or lower the pH.
