I finally got myself an Ultimate Wall Setup from you guys last week and it’s very nice stuff. However after having it in hand, I came up with something that I see you don’t, or any of the other KZbin people do. It’s very simple, slide the black vinyl ends all the way up to the end of the hose. It’ll slide right past the ugly crimped ends/fittings and go up to the disconnect. Looks way better and removes bulk in the points that flex. Just something I noticed that have not seen others do. Like I said, stupid and simple, but makes it better.

Matt just reminds me of the dude from Jurassic park. "Spared no expense". Nothing wrong with that. I tend to go for higher end tools/parts. Buy once cry once and all that. And even if you discover things that are beyond what you would spend, as Matt says... it's still FRICKEN cool. I love how Matt takes some pretty industrial/professional products and tries to introduce them to the prosumer. Such a huge difference in quality on some of this stuff. I mean just look at an MTM SGS-28 compared to 95% of the sprayers on the market. The hand fatigue reduction alone is a big deal for me. I was totally geeking out over the new garage doors too, but I don't think I will ever buy something like that. I have been using my Griots boss foam cannons lately and LOVING the metering tips. Even with adams wheel and tire cleaner it foams really well and doesn't seem too watered down at all. I use the max foam meter tip with an active 2.3 and 1.25 tip. I may only have to fill the cannon once a season at this rate. I keep one cannon for soap and one for wheel/tire. Love the content. No editing needed.

I was also contemplating adding an RO set up to my current DI Cart. I was thinking something similar to a cart used for window washing but on a larger scale with higher flow. I am interested to see how you you will incorporate the RO. I assume it will be a high flow membrane along with a booster (pump) and a carbon pre-filter. Will you need to use a buffer tank? Right now I have a large DI tank on a hand truck with a carbon pre-filter and I want to add the RO membrane inline after the carbon filter but I believe the restriction will be too great. Also, need to figure something out about the waste water from the RO. Hurry up Matty Boy!!! I need you to figure this out pronto.

Are the two main considerations for DI sizing just selecting appropriate GPM range and gallons per resin fill based on TDI levels? Some of the small tanks/solutions didn't seem to flow enough for the high gpm setups especially dual setups. I bought the big .90 cu ft. on the go tank which at 250 tdi is like 800 gallons. Thats a good 150 washes which I would need to use in roughly a year. I assume I can run the large tank with less resin if I wanted to not use as much? So far I have just been washing (outside) all on DI so I don't have to worry about anything drying at any point.
@ObsessedGarage6 ай бұрын
Our number was the need to pass 5 gallon per minute through our filter. Each filter in series loses about 10% flow. We are targeting the ability to run up to 5 stages of filtration for really sophisticated systems. So we should be able to do that, but I need to test it. Carbon/Sediment, RO, DI
@timkinley17796 ай бұрын
All sediments aren't the same particle size. Different micron filters are what we used in the pharmaceutical industry. Larger filters in-line first, saving the smaller micron filters for the final product. You can always (and should) use filter aide to create an even bed for better flow thru.
@IowaLR46 ай бұрын
@@timkinley1779 Interesting, I’ll need to learn more about this. I can run a water softener inline with my DI now. I have a hot/cold spigot in my garage fed from two 50 gallon water heaters. ilI was wondering if the softener was also helpful in prolonging the resin.
