I was depressed yesterday because my family members were teasing me as I pray regularly and recite Qur'an regularly but today I found this amazing khutbah which taught me that my family is not as worst as Ibrahim Alaihissalam. Indeed we live in a world of fitna and fasad where practicing Islam is like holding hot coal in our hands especially for young. Thank you dear sheikh for addressing the Muslim youth and motivating us.

To all youngsters. 1. Be intelligent - don't just go with the flow, 2. Courage - stand on truth even if your all alone. 3. Sacrifice - 4. Tawakkul - put your trust on Allah. /make dua / no matter what you will come out as winner in the long run 5. Be role model - be kind to unkind people, make duas for them, Always respond with good Akhlaq and good manners .

SUBHANLLAH. Incredible, what a synchronicity ! The last two or three days, even this morning, i have been thinking about all the years my friends and i lived practicing only Ramadhan, not praying. How our parents who did not know better did not teach us much about Islam. No teenager accomplished salat then, in my country spoiled from our culture by the coloniser. I was thinking i must insist the children have to transmit the love and the teachings of Islam to their children, their children to the next generation etc. Alhamdu liLlah, since ten, fifteen years, we see more and more teenagers in the mosqs, deepening their knoweledge of Islam and strengthening their faith. Dear muslim teenagers, listen carefully to the Shaykh's words, they are a precious gift. You don't want to count in the future the time you wasted without salat, because salat keeps away from "bad behavior" and brings you close to blessings of Allah 3azza wa jal.

@@docashley8472 Thank you ! No, i am not iranian, even if my name has made more than one think that i am from Iran. Yes, it is really bitter to think that i ( and so many others, not to say almost all teenagers ) could have avoided many mistakes if only i knew more about my beautiful religion. The only sun ray in these regrets is that i have always been very firm about Islam being the true religion and my faith is "by nature" very deep. But ohhh it is so far from being enough. We need teachings. Intelligent teachings. Al hamdu liLlah, that's why we are on this channel. Not to forget "some" books...

Yes, I believe that Allah SWT guided me to hear, watch and learn from our beloved Sheikh Yasir Qadhi a lot of things about Islam, beginning from his lectures on the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). I consider myself as one of Sh. Yasir Qadhi's students. Alhamdulillah. He is not perfect. Only ALLAH SWT is perfect. I can see his sincerity++ and determination in educating the Muslim Ummah about our Deen to the best of his abilities ALLAH SWT bestowed upon him. I'm just curious if you are from the Islamic Deen. Just curious. Wa assalamo alaikom to all Muslim brothers and sisters.
