I remember seeing this show with my parents when I was I think in the fourth grade. It was the second day it opened. It was really cool and exciting. Now Im in the tenth grade and even though I haven't been to sea world in a while I'm sad to see it go. But il always have my memories

What did they have before Blue Horizons at San Diego? Blue horizons at Orlando has been going on a lot longer than the one here which is why it's more sad to the Orlando one go.

Dolphin Discovery. It has run for about 12 years. It's funny Blue Horizons only lasted for 5 years and it was replaced with a show much like Dolphin Discovery. In the end they never should have done it and just upgraded the stadium and changed the show around. In all honestly SWC should have spent the money on being able to do dolphin night shows than on Blue Horizons.

+RukatheBlackfish Well, ya. If dolphin discovery lasted that long they should have just done Dolphin days. Exactly why I don't think Blue Horizons should leave Orlando. We've had Blue Horizons for about like 15-20 years. I'm not really a big fan of Dolphin days. The trainers said that it will be different like it's our own.

Blue Horizons debut summer 2005, so almost 12 years. Honestly the show should have run its course years ago as it wasn't kept up but SWF spent money on other things. This was a long time coming for SWF.

+BlueFlash99Fun Dolphin Discovery was one of the longest running shows for a reason. Blue Horizons featured people and there was a lot of complaints. Shows like Dolphin Discovery and Dolphin Days feature the animals, who are in no way boring. Also neither show are educational, they just have a conservation message which is better than Blue Horizons which taught people nothing.

+mikayla mesko SeaWorld shows were never meant to have a story and it a short phase that SeaWorld relived under Anheuser Busch. Shows from the 1970s have stories. This is SeaWorld progressing, putting the animals first, and making them the story.

Blue Horizons ran for 5 years. At SeaWorld it's normal. The show had low ratings and Dolphin Days was doing better. So they switched to doing Dolphin Days full time.

ryantexasmass Dolphin Days is a more highly rated show. No, Dolphin Days was already running. There will be some minor changes to the set, but they had Dolphin Days the next day. No SeaWorld Florida will continue with Blue Horizons.
