If you guys are interested in many sniper military dudes check out simo häyä, this man is a legend served in the Finnish military as a sniper during the winter war with the highest sniper kills in history 505 Soviets and 2-300 kills with an smg in the front lines, hidden and undetected most of the time, shot with iron sights only, and puts snow in his mouth to hide his breath. He was so good that the soviets put a bounty on his head and they named him the White death. Another sniper war hero, a Canadian sniper knows as the ghost, this man served in ww1 as a sniper always undetected, he would always go into no mans land and no one would see him, he also snuck into German trenches frequently never got spotted at all, he served from beginning to end of ww1 and made it out alive. Name is Francis Peggy, his last name is long btw. Want accurate and detailed info on these two sniper legends, a power metal band sabaton who writes and sings about military history that you never heard of, they have a website on their lyrics and detailed history on these two sniper legends. For the record, you’d be lucky to find a scotsman that clear, I’m from the north of England, and I still can’t understand 90% of Scots Edit: serious respect for your service, I could never do what you do, and without you, the world would be a much worse place. I used to pretend I’d be in the hellhole known as the battle of Stalin grad pretending to be a red army sniper. My imagination was so massive as a child it blows my mind that I used to pretend and imagine being in a war not really thinking about the real consequences of war but also at a Young age it’s like I’ve always known the reality of war and death in general, it was almost like my human instinct. I used to watch so many documentaries that were on the history Channel about all the wars of ww2 and pretty much every war in humanity but ww2 interested me the most as a kid
