I am a little *cough* outside of Selena's usual demographic, but I have to say I am so impressed with how she has introduced her line. I am a woman with a disability, and I love that she incorporated accessibility into the packaging. Also I am so happy to see the emphasis she has put on mental health, and donating a portion of her proceeds towards that. I have a condition similar to Selena’s. I’m thankful for her ergonomic packaging of her new line and it’s very simple. Most of us with Fibro/Lupus/Arthritis aren’t going for a glam look everyday and want something simple but gorgeous. I love her. I’m studying to be an esthetician and The key to SPF is not necessarily a higher SPF but to reapply, I think that’s the most Important key In all of this. Higher SPF gives people a false sense of security thinking they can stay out longer because of the higher SPF when in reality you should reapply in order to get the benefits of SPF💖

how often should I be reapplying spf in a day? I apply a 50spf sunscreen around 6am before I go to school where our classes have quite a bit of sunlight, and by the time I’m home it’s 4pm so I don’t think the protection will be as efficient any longer :O

@@andre.moonlight I had super duper uber dry skin (I live in the fcking deserts of Southern Arizona and while it has its charm it....oof lol) so I've been learning about moisturizer and I know sunscreen is important, but I only use the Sea & C Sheer Face Serum SPF 55 because it IS SPF 55, and a good brightener for the face and I'm all about that. For taking off makeup I use the cerave cleanser and tony moly peach cleansing cause IT'S SO CUTE AND SHAPED LIKE A PEACH AND SMELLS SO GOOD OH MY GOD and then I just use a brightening toner from Pixi, and the Olay night regenerate cream. Kinda simple but it works. My skin just from starting this in like what march/april and now going into sept, when I visited my parents over labor day they BOTH (even my dad and we all know most guys aren't into skin care) were like "your skin looks SO good the heck" lol that felt great to hear. I even managed to reduce that strawberry nose thing I had going on by keeping pores clean.

My personal experience has been yes. I feel like it is the combination of the stress from traveling and possible weather change, and the fact that I used to just pick up whichever skincare products that I have a travel size for, which most of the time is not my normal routine. What I've found to be helpful myself is to just start packing small containers of the products that I normally use for trips, and also stay hydrated and sun-protected while traveling .

Used all of the proactiv face acne lines and some worked for a little bit of time but then did not work for being $60... also they sent me a super abrasive scrub cleanser to be used with adapalene, an alcohol heavy toner, and a weak sunscreen but no moisturizer. No wonder it didn’t work.

Omg my favorite skincare KZbinr reacting to my favorite celeb!!! Selena is the nicest person ever! I grow up and still live in Hong Kong and I remember I added her MSN when I was 12 (that time when I was watching every single ep of Wizard of Waverly Place twice or more). She thought I was another celebrity's sister and added me back. We chatted on MSN for a short while and she changed her status to fan time after she learned that I'm not a celeb. To this day that experience still feels like a dream. I can't wait till Rare Beauty is available for the international market.

I’m 26. And people think I’m like 16 sometimes even 12 because I’m 4’9 so I’m very petite. I used to get mad about it when I was In my early 20s but now that I’m 26 I like being told I look 10 years younger. I actually cringe now when people ask my age bc I have to say 26 and I feel like that’s old but then ppl are like girl you look young. So that makes me feel better. Stop attacking whoever wrote this comment. Not everyone likes that “mature” look let’s be honest. Otherwise Botox and fillers wouldn’t exist.
