The 63.5 head angle is unreal downhill and on berms. Glad to see you are running it. I’ve been contemplating going back to that setting. I’m back at 64.5. I found on 63.5 my S3 sized bike is a little wheelie happy when climbing, and the bike turns by itself as well.

I don't feel the head coming up so much and not a pronounced self turning effect from being 63.5 HA. Maybe my mullet nomad N3 disensetized me as there was very much these 2 problems on that bike in mullet form 63' HA

I took the rubber ring off the headset cap and greased it up. It works way better with no gaps. And 100% with the chain ring clearance. The chainstay needs to be raised a bit.

If u wanna get rid of creeks. I’ve used green locktite on stanchion tube to crown area. And you can use it on the headset bearing race to frame area. My guess would be one of those headeset races is moving. Green loctite has live 4 or more different kinds. I think 3 are appropriate. It is made for exactly this.

I'm picking up my Evo Pro in a week. I noticed the gouges in that spot on some used Evos on Pro's Closet. The $-works is very expensive, and I was looking at saving a few thousand U.S. dollars but the frame is showing damage into the carbon. I may use a strip of an inner tube to wrap that area or buy Ride Wrap chainstay protection. The only bad thing is the 2023 Pro is white and a black wrap will be obvious. Thanks for reminding me of this chain slap problem.

Bo. there is just one more thing i missed out.. this bike has an issue with having a chain line problem and when the chain is new as well as old.. it will be a noisy peddler. i only get it to be silent for a short period of time when the chain in a in perfect to the chain line.. but as soon as it stretches' beyond that perfect tolerance. Cranking it uphill is gonna be noisy

Mine also fills up with water because the drain port is I'm the bottom bracket and there's not an easy passage for water to come out

Nice Video! Are interested in trying the Muller link? May be good for shorter riders like us!

I m personally thinking of a cascade link. But am gonna install a 0.6 volume spacer today to prevent bumpstop first.

Dude, looks like the dropper is too short? Or is it because the insertion depth is too shallow?
@kevinkonguwu2 жыл бұрын
Dude. This bike only has 400mm insertion for size S3. The best is to use a 170 to 200mm dropper form the likes for pnw and oneup. My saddle was set too high in this video.

Hi Kevin! Im interested in the same frame as you have and thinking about building on up myself in due time. Would you mind if i try it out briefly on 2K?

What is that down tube protector?
@kevinkonguwu Жыл бұрын
I got that rubber down tune protector online from a China site. Very very good for the money. I probably paid $4 for it.

Thanks for the great video. I use a 32 tooth chain ring so fortunately I do not have the chain slap issue as bad. Have you weighed the bike? I'm on a S4 alloy version with cheap components for the drive train so it is definitely heavy for me.

Yes I have weight the bike and it sit on 16.2kg S3 with a full swat box.
